Asharqia Chamber organized a recruitment meeting for 7 major companies at the Chamber's headquarter in Dammam on Thursday, 5 April 2018. The meeting witnessed a significant turnout of job seekers who were keen to attend in the early hours of the meeting, which started at 8.30 am and continued until 1.30 pm.
Many job seekers visited the participating companies' booth to learn about the job offers available in addition to the salary and other functional features. Employment officials in the companies received job seekers that hold a high school diploma and diploma in administration. They conducted interviews with the job seekers in order to know the readiness to engage in training programs that ended with employment at one of those companies. Some companies provided immediate job offers to meet the needs of the qualified job seekers.
This meeting comes within the framework of the cooperation of Asharqia Chamber with companies and institutions to consolidate jobs through the provision of national technical skills qualified to work in the private sector. This meeting is a complement to what the Chamber, represented by the Employment Center, has been doing in organizing a number of job interviews for a number of companies in various fields.
The participating companies are: Alshaya, TNS Saudi Security Services Provider, AGCCOM holding Co., Nitag Alkahraba for Marketing, Joyalukkas, Zamil Co., and Abyat. Corporate representatives present job opportunities through personal meetings with the applicants to identify tasks and deliver appropriate offers.
